Ground Breaking Day

Today was the big day!  I am off all week trying to waste some vacations days before I lose them.  I decided to watch the crew dig our basement, and they sure do it quickly.  It is 101 outside today so I sure hope that CAT has AC.

We are excited to finally see some action after all of the research, decisions, and selections.  I smoked a pork shoulder last night so I could take the SR and PM some food.  Let's hope it was enough to win them over, just in case I need them on my side before it is all said and done.  We are looking at closing October 1st.  Man, will I be glad to be done with apartments!  Time for a cold glass of beer to celebrate.
